Terms and conditions
Europe Global Holidays requires full travel price or balance payment at least 40 days bfore travel. In the event of any tour being booked less than 40 days before the date of departure, the entire tour amount shall be paid upon receipt of our confirmation. Vouchers and travel documents will only be released upon receipt of full payment.
In case of advance booking, minimum token deposit should be 20% of the cofirmed tour price. Your payments is absolutely secured with us and be rest assured of our services
- Bookings including services with non-refundable rates have to be paid immediately after the booking has been finalized. EGH may also request a deposit for such bookings.
- Seat reservations in Panoramic trains has to be booked and reserved well in advance and non-refundable once booked.
- Guests are requested to check hotel reviews before finalizing it with us .
- If the payment has not been transferred to the bank account of EGH in due time, EGH has the right to cancel all booked services without any further obligations and has also the right to invoice the cancellation fees.
- Payments are accepted through Bank Wire Transfer. Bank Details will be shared only at the time of finalization of the tour.
- Any Bank Remittance Charges has to be borne by the guest not by us.
- We prefer to accept payments either in US$ or in Euros
- Final Tour offer will apply ROE ( rate of exchange) as on date of offer given.
- We use the mid-market rate for our Currency Converter. However, actual payable price could be marginally increased in order to avoid any currency loss during any payment transactions.
Refund and Unused Services
If the customer does not use all and / or part of the services to their full extent as arranged, no refunds will be granted by EGH
Amendments and Cancellations
- After our confirmation has been raised, we will charge an amendment fee of EUR 100- per booking file plus any charges that may be made by our own suppliers. This particularly will apply where non-refundable rates have been booked.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
The client may cancel any tour or service before the departure date. In such an event, EGH must receive the cancellation in writing before the said date. In case of a cancellation the following fees in percentage of the package price apply, unless otherwise specified by our staff at time of booking.
- 31 days and more, 20% of the total confirmed tour price. 80% refunded.
- 30–15 days before tour departure date, 40% of the total confirmed tour price. 60% refunded.
- 14–08 days before tour departure date, 80% of the total confirmed tour price. 20% refunded.
- 7 - 0 days before travel or no show: 100% of overall package cost
- Hotel:- 100% of the costs 7-0 days before departure
- Dispatch and shipping costs are never refunded.
- During on tour any amendments are required by the guest to the booked hotels or services, any supplement charges will be borne by the guest
Refunds will be processed within 25 days from the date of cancellation of the tour
Note: We never want to cancel a trip, but sometimes things happen.
As the world opens up, we're excited for you to get out there and see it. But we also recognise the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is still a risk and some things are out of both our control and yours.
We want your future travels to always be safe and, in the unfortunate event that your trip needs to be cancelled, we are committed to supporting you the best we can.
Cancelled trips*
If you were booked on a trip that we had to cancel due to Force Majeure (e.g. due to the COVID-19 pandemic), we have automatically applied your credit of monies paid to EGH, as per our Booking Conditions at the time you booked your trip.*
Refunds for cancelled trips due to COVID-19**
If we're unable to run your trip due to COVID-19, you’ll automatically receive a credit of the monies paid to us (excluding any third-party costs such as flights or insurance)**.
We understand this is an uncertain time and it might be a while before you're ready to travel again, so there’s no expiry on this credit.
Not interested in a credit? You can request a refund, minus any unrecoverable costs, instead.
COMPLAINTS
In the event of the client suffering harm or damages or the tour not corresponding with the contracted agreement, the client shall be both entitled and obliged to inform the service provider immediately and request redress. The service provider shall be obliged to provide assistance within a reasonable time. Should any difficulties not be resolved as they occur and you wish to lodge a claim, this must be made in writing with supporting documentation (confirmation of the supplier, train tickets and reservations etc.) within 30 days after your last travel day booked with EGH.
The agency shall not assume, create or incur any liability or any obligation of any kind, express or implied, against or in the name of or on behalf of EGH.
Insurances
The liability of travel, transport and airline companies is limited. EGH therefore recommends to the client to arrange for appropriate supplementary insurance cover (for example luggage, cancellation, accidents, illness, and possible repatriation costs). The all-inclusive prices quoted by EGH include no insurance cover.
Entry, Visa and Health Regulations
Every traveler is responsible for providing his/her own personal travel documents such as passport, visa and vaccination certificates. The visa costs are not included in the tour prices. In the event of a cancellation due to non-receipt or late receipt of a travel document, the cancellation terms and conditions shall apply.
Liability
Europe Global Holidays is not liable for slight negligence. This limitation of liability shall not apply in case of fraudulent intent, in case of bodily injury or personal damage, for the breach of guarantees and for claims arising from product liability. EGH is not liable for acts of force majeure (Cyber Crime, earthquakes, pandemics, floodings, etc).
EGH as an intermediary is particularly not liable for:
- for the provision of a service that is outside of the scope of the booked Tour
- for additional services booked by the Traveler on his own risk and account after departure.
