Terms and conditions

The full travel price or balance shall be paid before commencement of the tour. In the event of payment not being received by the agreed date, EGH reserve the right not to provide the tour services and also to claim cancellation costs in accordance with below mentioned Cancellation.

PAYMENT TERMS
Full package price should be received at least 40 days before travel date. The minimum booking amount shall be 10% of the total package price, If the packages is being booked more than 40 days before travel. In the event of cancellation by the Customer, booking handling charges and cancellation costs will be levied as per cancellations policy.

Handling charges

In the event of cancellation or termination by the Customer, handling charges of CHF 200.– will be charged per person.
Cancellation costs Depending on the date of cancellation, cancellation costs will be charged in addition to the fees mentioned under Cancellation .

Refund and Unused Services

If the customer does not use all and / or part of the services to their full extent as arranged, no refunds will be granted by EGH

Amendments and Cancellations

Cancellation / Refund Policy

The client may cancel any tour or service before the departure date. In such an event, EGH must receive the cancellation in writing before the said date. In case of a cancellation the following fees in percentage of the package price apply, unless otherwise specified by our staff at time of booking.

Refunds will be processed within 25 days from the date of cancellation of the tour
Note: We never want to cancel a trip, but sometimes things happen. As the world opens up, we're excited for you to get out there and see it. But we also recognise the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is still a risk and some things are out of both our control and yours. We want your future travels to always be safe and, in the unfortunate event that your trip needs to be cancelled, we are committed to supporting you the best we can.


Cancelled trips* If you were booked on a trip that we had to cancel due to Force Majeure (e.g. due to the COVID-19 pandemic), we have automatically applied your credit of monies paid to EGH, as per our Booking Conditions at the time you booked your trip.*
Refunds for cancelled trips due to COVID-19** If we're unable to run your trip due to COVID-19, you’ll automatically receive a credit of the monies paid to us (excluding any third-party costs such as flights or insurance)**. We understand this is an uncertain time and it might be a while before you're ready to travel again, so there’s no expiry on this credit. Not interested in a credit? You can request a refund, minus any unrecoverable costs, instead.

COMPLAINTS

In the event of the client suffering harm or damages or the tour not corresponding with the contracted agreement, the client shall be both entitled and obliged to inform the service provider immediately and request redress. The service provider shall be obliged to provide assistance within a reasonable time. Should any difficulties not be resolved as they occur and you wish to lodge a claim, this must be made in writing with supporting documentation (confirmation of the supplier, train tickets and reservations etc.) within 30 days after your last travel day booked with EGH.

The agency shall not assume, create or incur any liability or any obligation of any kind, express or implied, against or in the name of or on behalf of EGH.

Insurances

The liability of travel, transport and airline companies is limited. EGH therefore recommends to the client to arrange for appropriate supplementary insurance cover (for example luggage, cancellation, accidents, illness, and possible repatriation costs). The all-inclusive prices quoted by EGH include no insurance cover.

Entry, Visa and Health Regulations

Every traveler is responsible for providing his/her own personal travel documents such as passport, visa and vaccination certificates. The visa costs are not included in the tour prices. In the event of a cancellation due to non-receipt or late receipt of a travel document, the cancellation terms and conditions shall apply.

Liability

Europe Global Holidays is not liable for slight negligence. This limitation of liability shall not apply in case of fraudulent intent, in case of bodily injury or personal damage, for the breach of guarantees and for claims arising from product liability. EGH is not liable for acts of force majeure (Cyber Crime, earthquakes, pandemics, floodings, etc).

EGH as an intermediary is particularly not liable for:

Loss or damage of property

In the event of loss or damage of property arising from incorrect or non-fulfillment of contract by EGH, the liability of EGH shall be restricted to a maximum sum equal to twice the tour price, unless such damage or loss was caused intentionally or due to negligence by the client or tour participants. Amounts of any such liability shall be subject to lower limits specified by international agreements.
