1st day:
Arrival in Chur

Individual arrival in Chur by car or train. Overnight in Chur.

2nd day:
Bernina Express to Tirano (4h15)

Today you travel with the Bernina Express of the Rhaetian Railway along the UNESCO World Heritage route. Enjoy an Alpine switchback ride, taking you from the high, towering glaciers of the mountains to Tirano (IT). A typical northern Italian town with inviting squares, lined with shops and bars. Several palazzi like the Sertoli Salis and the imposing pilgrimage church Madonna di Tirano are worth a visit. Overnight in Tirano.

3rd day:
Tirano to Chur (4h15)

Board any regional train from Tirano to Chur. You have many exciting possibilities to stop your journey. Alp Grüm is located at 2091m and can only be reached by train. Why not take lunch at this special site? Or make a stop at Bernina Diavolezza for an excursion with the aerial cableway up to the summit. Seat reservations are not possible on regional trains. Overnight in Chur.

4th day:
Departure from Chur

Enjoy a day at leisure in Chur. Individual travel by car or train to your place of residence or onward journey.
